A wood block puzzle played on a 9x9 sudoku grid, where the aim is to keep placing pieces without running out of space.
Sudoku Blocks borrows the board from sudoku and the pieces from a block puzzle. There are no digits to fill in. Instead, you place wood blocks on a 9×9 square grid, and the one rule that matters is not to run out of space — the game asks you to keep placing blocks for as long as the board allows.
The sudoku side shows in the grid itself. A 9×9 board divides naturally into rows, columns and 3×3 squares, and good play means thinking about where the next awkward shape could still go before you commit the current one. A board filled carelessly leaves no room for the piece that follows.
It is presented as a test of your brain and IQ, which fits the way the game rewards looking ahead. What you are getting is a relaxed spatial puzzle on a familiar sudoku grid.
